Betty Arlene Fuller

Betty Arline Fuller, 78, of Mattoon, passed away at 2:10 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Odd-Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon.\r\n\r\nFuneral services honoring her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL. Pastor Walt Truex will officiate. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery, Mattoon, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, also in the Funeral Home.\r\n\r\nBetty was born on August 14, 1935 in Mattoon Illinois, the daughter of John and Pauline (Ruth) Ashworth. She married James Fuller in 1978 in Mattoon, Illinois. He passed away on June 16, 2010\r\n\r\nSurviving are her two children: Barbara Maples and husband Mark of Charleston, IL; Betty Jo Quast, and her husband Ed, of Lerna, IL; Grandchildren: Mark Maples ll. of Charleston, IL; Daniel Maples of Charleston, IL; Bethany Gardner and her husband Kris of Charleston, IL Miranda Quast of Charleston, IL. Six great-grandchildren; Nicolas Gardner, Zane Gardner, Dayden Gardner, Ramie Gardner, Piper Gardner and Gavin Quast, all of Charleston, IL; One stepson, Gary Fuller and wife Debbie of Cookeville, Tennessee; three stepdaughters, Connie Sue (Fuller) Donnelly and husband Mike of Morton, Lela (Fuller) Frost and husband Brian of Monteverde, Florida, Sonja McGee and special friend Chad Craig of Mattoon; Grandchildren Chris Donnelly, and wife Mary who have one son, Caiden of Colorado Springs CO. Chad Donnelly and wife Krista who have 3 daughters Haylie Kylie, and Kenzie of Morton IL. Curtis Donnelly and wife Sonia have 2 daughters Athera and Persethone of Quenesec MI. Sean Fuller has one daughter Laura of Cookeville TN. Katrina Fuller has two children Jade and Steven of Livingston TN. Lisa Walsh and husband Shawn have a son Owen of Livingston TN. Michelle Fuller has two boys Charles and Joshua. Krystal Boldt of Decatur IL has two children Darrian and Desiree of Pombey FL. Brianne Eeland and husband Jeremy have 3 children Jacob, Taylor and Zack and they are from Fresno CA. Josh Boldt and wife Sheryl have 2 children Lexi and Kalin, of Syracuse NY.\r\n\r\nShe is also survived by her two brothers, Clint Ashworth and his wife Carolyn of Clark, MO and Bob Ashworth and his wife Norma of Higbee, MO; one sister, Joan Whitley of Atwood, IL, and a sister in law, Wilma Ashworth of Columbia,MO.\r\n\r\nIn addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ed Ashworth and her sister Norma Jean Hall.\r\n\r\nMrs. Fuller was a member of Marshall Avenue Christian Church of Mattoon and enjoyed visiting with her family, friends and playing cards in the Women's card club. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched.\r\n
