Born in Sioux City, Iowa on June 10, 1958, Pamela was the daughter of Philip Eugene and Patricia Ann (Budden) Foley. She married Clifford S. Fairchild on May 28, 1983, in Springfield, IL. Survivors include her loving husband, Clifford of Mattoon, IL; two children, Blake Fairchild and wife Mina of Mattoon, IL, and Lauren Engerski and husband Ethan of Highland, IL; one brother, Shawn Foley and wife Carol of Champaign, IL; one sister, Kim Ohman with Jamie Pierangelo of Scottsdale, AZ; one grandchild, three nieces and one nephew. Pamela earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in 1980. She had been the office manager for Industrial Services and HD Supply. In her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking, baking, joining her husband on fishing trips, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and attending wine tasting events. She was also a devoted supporter of her children’s sports programs and an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Illinois. A member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pamela’s faith was an important part of her life. Her spirituality and her family were a source of comfort and strength. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her children and granddaughter, and even her grand-puppy.
