Mrs. Carol Sue Tilford

August 30, 1936 - August 23, 2005

MATTOON -- Carol Sue (O''Dell) Tilford, age 69, of Mattoon, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at her residence.\r\n\r\nCarol was born April 17, 1936 at Mattoon, Illinois a daughter of Randall "Dale" and Zella Alberta Boorom O''Dell. She married Kenneth Tilford August 30, 1956 at Mattoon, he preceded her in death March 12, 2003.\r\n\r\nSurviving are her children, Dawn Bushur and husband Kevin of Ocoee, Florida, Randy Tilford and wife Terry of Edgewater, Florida, Karen Davis and husband David of Mattoon and Steve Tilford and wife Lydia of Springfield. Also surviving are a brother, Richard O''Dell and wife Patricia of Lagrange, Oregon and a sister, Linda Lankow and husband Terry of Stewardson. She also leaves her grandchildren, Austin Tyler, Autumn Rausch, Brittany Schwanke, Heather Davis, Jeremy Rausch, Jon Schwanke, Joshua Marshall, Jr., Karla Bushur, Kenton Tilford, Kyle Bushur, Michael Rausch, Roberto Ordonez, Samantha Schwanke, Stacy Schwanke, Timothy Schwanke and Wesley Tilford. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, one brother and one great-granddaughter.\r\n\r\nCarol was a member of Central Community Church. She had been employed as the first secretary at Lincoln School.
