Julia Ann 'Judy' Williams, 76, of Trilla, passed away 12:45 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Cooley-Dickinson Hospital, North Hampton, Massachusetts.\r\n\r\nFuneral services celebrating her life will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Trilla with Rev. James Maroon officiating. Interment will follow in Beals Cemetery, Trilla. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with Eastern Star Rites at 4:45 p.m. performed by Order of the Eastern Star Evergreen Lodge #96.\r\n\r\nJudy was born June 14, 1930 at Trilla, Illinois, a daughter of Merle Newton and Juanita Fern Brown Green. She married Cecil Glen Williams September 17, 1950 at Trilla, Illinois, he preceded her in death June 14, 1992. She is survived by her children, Tom Williams and wife Brenda of Mattoon, Joe Williams and wife Natalie of Flower Mound, TX, Jerry Williams and wife Renee of Mattoon, Jack Williams and wife Cindy of Mattoon, Michael Williams and wife Cindy of Trilla, Randy Williams and wife Lisa of Rowlett, TX, Juanita Jenkins and husband Charles of Mattoon, Brian Williams and wife Angie of Wildwood, MO, Larry Williams and wife Jennifer of Amherst, MA, Denise DeLashaw and husband Paul of Frisco, TX and Angie Rawlings and husband Mitch of Trilla. She also leaves a brother, L. E. 'Bud' Green and wife Barb of Trilla; sisters, Myrt Doughty and husband Jean of Crossville, IL, Janet Tinch of Trilla and Jessie Wallace and husband Joe of Mattoon; twenty eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Williams.\r\n\r\nJudy was a very active member of Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Evergreen Lodge #96, Order of the Eastern Star in Neoga where she was Worthy Matron. She had a lifetime involvement in the Choice Program in Mattoon and was a life member of the P.T.A. She also held membership in Theos, Trilla Community Association and the Eagle's Lodge in Mattoon where she enjoyed playing Bingo. Being the mother of a large family, Judy dearly loved each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren\r\n\r\nMemorial contributions may be made to Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
