Alberta R. Kingery

TOLEDO -- Alberta R. Kingery, age 78, of Toledo, passed away at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the home of her granddaughter in Mattoon.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Drummond Cemetery, near Neoga. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.\r\n\r\nAlberta was born October 20, 1927 at Mattoon, a daughter of Joseph Sephis and Leora Marie Hunter Mitchell. She married Donald Graham, he preceded her in death. She later married Michael I. Kingery October 20, 1978 at Toledo, Illinois, he also preceded her in death. Surviving is a son, Terry Graham and special friend Christy Leathers of Mattoon; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Graham of Mattoon; eight step-children; grandchildren, Tammy (Douglas) Dare of Mattoon, Chad Graham of Toledo and Eric Graham of Mattoon; great-grandchildren, Samantha Graham, Brandon Dare and Katelynn Graham; step-grandchildren, Alice Johnson, Kathy Donley, Duane Ard, Debbie Laymon, Tina Sparling and Candy Hardin. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, George Sheeks; two sons Larry L. and Donnie Graham; one daughter, Glendia Marie Graham, one daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Sue) Graham and two step-great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nMrs. Kingery was a member of First Baptist Church, Toledo. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
