My Mother, the Horsewoman

My mother had a passion for riding horses ever since she was a child. She was happiest when on horseback, whether riding on the country roads near our home or competing in dressage events. She taught all of us kids to ride almost as soon as we could walk, and we spent many happy vacations as a family traveling to horse shows.
