Mattoon, IL – Robert L. Wheaton, age 71, of Mattoon, IL, passed away at 5:50 a.m., Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Oddfellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon, IL.
There will be no services. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Wheaton was born January 15, 1939, in Amboy, Illinois, the son of Day and Mary (Tucker) Wheaton. Both parents are deceased. He is survived by five sisters, Rose Maynard, Ethel Cooper, Marie Cowger, Pat Dixon, Debbie Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Wheaton.
