Danville, IL – James Edward Forster, age 47, of Danville, IL, passed away at 3:22 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at the Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL.
The funeral service in his honor will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2010 at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL, 61938, with Reverend Robert Clark officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins.
Mr. Forster was born May 3, 1962, in Effingham County, Illinois, the son of Will, Sr. and Dorothy M. Forster. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Forster; three children, Josh Forster at home, April Morgan of Longview, IL, and Eli Forster of Homer, IL; two brothers, Tom Forster and wife Elana of Rochester, IL, and Michael Forster and wife Carla of Windsor, IL; one grandchild, Destanee Morgan of Longview, IL; and two brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Forster served our country with the United States Army and was employed by Glacier Water. Other than spending time with family and friends, his favorite past time was fishing.
