Jerry N. Craft Jerry N. Craft, 67, of Mattoon, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in her home, with her daughter, Gina, who was her best friend, by her side.
Her memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL. Rev. Bob Clark will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., Saturday, until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
Jerry was born October 20, 1944, in Morgan County, Kentucky to Garland and Reva (Robison) Craft. She dedicated ten years to Brookstone Estates, before finally working for Peace Meal where she enjoyed using food to make new friendships.
Surviving is her daughter, Regina (husband, Wayne) Cox of Neoga, IL; two brothers, Henry (wife, Mary) Craft of Charleston, IL, Ronnie (wife, Vickie) Craft of Oakland, IL; two sisters, Ann (husband, Will) Binnion of Sullivan, IL, Carolyn (husband, Doug) Pearcy of Kansas, IL; several nieces and nephews; and many loyal friends.
Preceding Jerry in death are her parents, one brother, David Manning, and one sister, Bonnie Hunter.
Jerry enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, and animals of all kinds. She had an energetic love of life and people, and had a passion for cooking and entertaining. She will be dearly missed.
