Dalys V. Albright Dalys V. Albright, 76, of Mattoon, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.
A time for gathering and sharing memories will be on held Monday, December 31, 2012 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Steve Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow in RestHaven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, IL.
Dalys was born March 6, 1936 in Princeton, Illinois, the daughter of Valentine and Genevieve (Raynor) Warkins. On November 16, 1957, in Broadwell, IL, Dalys married Dick Albright. He survives.
Along with her loving husband of just over 54 years, she is survived by her children, Kyla A. Poplawski, and her husband John, of Champaign, IL, and M. Scott Albright, and his wife, Sonia, of Robinson, IL; Four grandchildren: Morgan Poplawski and Dylan Poplawski, both of Champaign, and Kylynn Albright and Dalton Albright, both of Robinson, IL.
Dalys was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, and two sisters, Patricia McCoy-Finn and Wanda Allers.
In her spare time, Mrs. Albright enjoyed antiquing and refinishing furniture. She lived for her children and her grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends who had the pleasure of knowing her.
