Vickie L. McCall Vickie L. McCall, age 51, of Mattoon, IL, died at 3:43 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
The family invites the public to a memorial dinner in her honor that will be held from 4 – 6 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the American Legion Post #88, Mattoon, IL.
Vickie was born November 17, 1960, in Mattoon, IL, daughter of the late Victor and Jessie (Bruner) McCall.
She is survived by her boyfriend Shane Bass; her loving daughter, Brandy French (Chris Boyer) of Mattoon; two brothers, Chris Martin of Tempe, AZ, and Randy (wife, Lek) McCall, of Peoria, AZ; one sister, Debbie (husband Kent) Spencer, of Sullivan, IL; three grandchildren, Amber French, Adam French, and Trevor Long; her best friends, Carol (husband Len) Poffinbarger and Jane Jones. She also leaves behind her beloved cockatiel, Socrates.
Vickie loved cooking and spending time with her friends. She enjoyed summer and feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin.
Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
