Sullivan, IL – Jessie Lois McCall, age 77, of Sullivan, IL, formerly of Mattoon, IL, passed away at 8:20 p.m., August 8, 2010, at Mason Point in Sullivan, IL.
The graveside service in her honor will begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010, at the Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan, IL. There will be no visitation. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, located at 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL, 61938, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. McCall was born September 16, 1932 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Gene and Jessie (King) Bruner. She married Victor I. McCall on April 16, 1960 in Mattoon, IL. He passed away June 3, 1995. Survivors include their children, Deborah Spencer and husband Kent of Sullivan, IL, Chris Martin of Tempe, AZ, Randy McCall and wife Lek of Peoria, AZ, and Vickie McCall of Mattoon, IL; and one sister, Viola Janssen and husband Herman of Mattoon, IL. She leaves ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Mrs. McCall was a homemaker. She was especially fond of listening to music and enjoyed participating in workshops at Life Link. However, she treasured time spent with her family most of all.
