SULLIVAN - Kenneth Curtright, age 87, of Sullivan, IL passed away at 11:14 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Mason Point, Sullivan, Illinois. Services honoring his life will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010, at 1:00 pm. at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon, until the time of service. Kenneth was born April 1, 1922 in STE. Marie, IL, the son of Harry and Laura (Poehler) Curtright. He is survived by his daughter, Linda and husband Harry of Flora, IL; Two grandchildren, Eugenia Lagle of Mansfield, IL; Michael Penry of Heyworth, IL and four great-grandchildren. One brother Donald Curtright of Elgin, IL and a sister Imogene O'Day of Terre Haute, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth had proudly served our country with the United States Air force and cared for others as a fireman throughout his career. He was a member of the Mattoon Moose a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and his grandchildren.
