Ronnie D. Harvey Mattoon, IL – Ronnie D. Harvey, age 46, of Mattoon, IL, died at 7:24 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012, in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The memorial visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, at 6:00 pm., also at the funeral home. Rev. Dave Baldwin will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, IL.
Born March 2, 1965, in Mattoon, IL, Ronnie was the son of John and Adora “Sue” (Duncan) Harvey. He married his best friend, Nicole Britton, and they would have celebrated 15 years together this September. She survives, along with his loving mother, Sue Gonzalez; his three sisters, Brenda Connour (Dave Owens), Debby Sanchez, and Earlene Ruiz, all of Mattoon; several nieces and nephews; too many wonderful friends to list; and his adored pets.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Harvey.
Ronnie loved to spend time with his friends, and enjoyed volunteering his time for several charities. He was a member of the Mattoon Eagle’s Club.
