Max Lee Watts Max Lee Watts Sr, 78 of Mattoon, IL passed away Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 8:11 a.m. at Odd Fellow Rebekah Home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangments.
Born June 1st, 1934 in Montezuma, Indiana he was one of eleven children to Virgil and Mable (Myers) Watts.
He is survived by his children Max L. Watts Jr.( Marty) of Greencastle Indiana, Diana Hazlett (Jim) of Rockville, Indiana, Carol Millsap (Greg) of Shelbyville, Illinois, David Watts (Shawn) of Cloverdale, Indiana, Billy Watts (Chere) of Muncie, Indiana, Erica Howell of Cisco, Illinois, and Terra Ashley of Mt. Zion, Illinois. fourteen Grandchildren, eleven Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers. Leroy Watts of Tuscola, Illinois, Joe Watts of Montezuma, Indiana, Dick Watts of Montezuma, Indiana and Gary Watts of Hillsdale, Indiana. Six sisters, Dorothy Snodgrass of Middletown, Indiana, Doris Taylor of Clinton, Indiana, Mary Bettle of Cedar Lake, Indiana, Margaret Martin of Universal, Indiana, Brenda Clouser of Hudson, Florida and Nancy Helms of Terre Haute, Indiana. Close friends Christina and Kevin Perry of Mattoon, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
